Convert rtf to pdf with Ted

The *.rtf file shouldn’t be used for our policy, because it is a proprietary document file format with published specification developed by Microsoft Corporation…and we have so many open text formats alternatives!

But if you get one and you are not able to open it because on your pc has been installed the minimum required to survive…well, maybe a CLI utility might be useful to you:

Install ted:

yaourt -S ted

and then simply type:

/usr/share/Ted/examples/rtf2pdf.sh file.rtf file.pdf

Now your *.rtf file is transormed to *.pdf!
That’s it! GWH!
