Ubuntu 14.04: from Unity to GNOME!!!

Yes, I’m a purist: “Unity non se po vedè” (I cannot see Unity).

Today I was working on a Ubuntu 14.04 Virtual Machine with Unity DE.

Well, mission impossible.

So, why do not come back to the origins? ==> Yes, I’m talking about GNOME!!!

If you want to change your Desktop Environment, just type the following command into a terminal:

$ sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback

Then, to change the Desktop Environment, simply log out, click on the GNOME logo near your username, choose the type of GNOME you want and then log in again.

I did and then…I STARTED WORKING!

GWH!
