Installing precompiled packages on GNU/Linux is rather easy.
NOW TO INSTALL GEOtop AND ITS DEPENDENCIES YOU HAVE TO INSTALL ONLY ONE PACKAGE!
- REMINDER: GEOtop had been built against MeteoIO, so the geotop.inpts of your working directory has to be properly set. To get an example, you can see

from the Official GEOtop Examples Repository
DEBIAN-derived distributions
Ubuntu 32 bit
TESTED ON UBUNTU 14.04
You can download the GEOtop package from Official GEOtop packages Repository, clicking on it and then on View Raw.
To install it ==> Double click on GEOtop_mio-2.0.1-i386.deb and follow the instructions.
Now to use GEOtop, type
inside the working directory.
To uninstall GEOtop and its dependencies:
Ubuntu 64 bit
TESTED ON UBUNTU 14.04
You can download the GEOtop package from Official GEOtop packages Repository, clicking on it and then on View Raw.
To install it ==> Double click on GEOtop_mio-2.0.1-amd64.deb and follow the instructions.
