This morning, while I was updating my operating system, I got this type of error:
Where does this error come from?
Probably, the databases on my machine were not up to date, or it could have been an internet problem (I was connected to an open and free net).
Another suspect is the mirrorlist , which may have suffered a misalignment with the databases after a mirrorlist update.
Thus, in order to clear all of my doubts I just typed:
or, if you use pacman:
and the problem have been resolved. The command used simply forces refresh of all package lists after updating /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.
Anyway, this solved my trouble and now my package manager has came back working.
That’s all, happy hacking! GWH!
